Summary
Sending the first part of the English manuscript for "Pictures of Sweden" and promising the rest; hoping he will read at least certain parts of the text; leaving publication decisions to Bentley; proposing the title "In Sweden" or "In Sweden: New Pictures, Stories and Fancies"; hoping "this new work has pleased and satisfied you"; informing that "I have sent a large illustrated edition of my 'Stories'" to Queen Victoria, which she accepted in a flattering manner; reporting that he never heard from Edward Bullwer Lytton, but that Charles Dickens "is more amiable towards me".
