Summary
Asking him to tell him if he has received all three parts of his manuscript for "The Two Baronesses" and informing that he sent the third part on the steamer "Camilla"; asking if a quoted section is in the manuscript he sent and, if it is, reporting an error of one word; asking him to add a note that "[a]n edition of this romance, in German, will be published in six weeks, by Mr. C.B. Lorck of Leipsic [sic]" so that nobody else begins a translation of the work; informing that Lorck previously published an edition of Andersen's "Tales" with illustrations by a Danish naval officer and asking on Lorck's behalf if Bentley would like to have those illustrations for a similar edition in English; asking whether "The Two Baronesses" will be published in late September or mid-October; informing that he will send another letter "in about eight days" with the dedication and preface, as he is "now in Funen very near the seat of war" but will be in Copenhagen before eight days; promising "a long letter for the Miscellany"; sending greetings to his family "as well as to Mr Taylor and Mr Morgan".
