Summary
Hoping Cahoon was not at Penn Station on Sunday evening and so did not get his wire, as his train was late and he was unable to meet with him; notifying that "the conference closes on the morning of Friday, July 17th" and that he is sure he can get to New York for Friday night and can see Cahoon, but that he goes to Cambridge [Massachusetts] on Saturday; describing where he is staying in Sweet Briar and then describing the people at the conference ("about 160 people, nearly all women. The men are all clergy"); lamenting the lack of class diversity at the conference and the Church in general, as well as the tediousness of the services and the lack of sense in the discussions.
