Thanking Cahoon for his letter; informing him that he will be taking a night train through New York on Sunday evening "in order to get to Sweet Briar [Virginia] on Monday"; telling that if he can stop in New York, it will be on his return trip, and that he will let Cahoon know; expressing gladness that Cahoon will visit him in summer and telling him that he will then take down his new address and telephone number; informing that he plans to publish more pamphlets and that Harvard is giving them more students; further informing that Wild is finishing a book "concerning our present disorders" which Smyth finds "awfully well written"; asking Cahoon to tell his news to Ed [Edwin Seldon, 1917-1984?].
