Informing him that he sent "the proof to Mr. Jones", enclosing a check he received in return, and asking the recipient to send him a receipt for it; writing that he hopes to move to their new house by the end of next week, and that he would like a few of his cards before doing so; stating that he has "many things to regret in leaving Oxford", but that he believes that business should be better, and expects they may see more of each other.
