Summary
Informing Foster that he wishes to include three works by him in Hall's series of articles to appear in the Art Journal with the title "British artists and their works"; requesting that Foster send him three photographs to be "put on the wood" by "Mr. [E.M.] Wimperis" and engraved by "Mr. Nicholl's" (a reference to either George Pike or John Nicholls, brothers and prominent engravers who contributed extensively to Hall's publication) "as proof of what he can do - without regard to cost - as works to be exhibited by him at the International Exhibition - 1870."
