Summary
Acknowledging receipt of a letter from Balston concerning the latter's upcoming exhibition of English books illustrated with wood engravings, and offering to send him two books from the Dropmore Press which he regards as "more personal" than the book "We Happy Few" which Balston previously mentioned to him; adding in response to Balston's letter that he studied with Eric Ravilious but was otherwise, along with his fellow students, self taught as a wood engraver.
