Summary
Expressing that he is "sorry to hear our publications are in the rare book room", referring to works published by The Untide Press, quipping, "probably a letter of recommendation from Wm. Shakespeare wouldn't admit one to such a sanctuary"; affirming that the New York Public Library's records "agree with ours in what you now have, except in regard to the Illiterati [the little magazine released by The Untide Press]" noting that the NYPL should have received "all copies" of the Illiterati; mentioning that The Untide Press recently sent NYPL a collection of William Everson's poems and "a miscellaneous scattering of Untides" remarking, "Needless to say, these are extremely rare"; informing Herbert where copies of Everson's work may be available; sharing Everson and Glen Coffield's addresses with Herbert; conveying support for the continuation of The Tiger Press, noting "Best wishes with keeping the Eye rolling".
