Summary
Writing that she is a comfort and has almost persuaded him "to become reconciled with myself over The garden of lies", and adding that "This shoving the responsibility back to poor Stevenson who is dead and can't resent it is a new and delightful thought", noting that is good of her "to speak so well of Denis" (presumably a reference to Denis Mallory, the protagonist of Forman's novel "The garden of lies"), giving her his observations on some of the cafes and eateries in Paris, and promising to deliver a letter she has enclosed for "Miss Tillerman".
