Writing that he is "glad to learn that you and Ford have established a new modus vivendi" and that he trusts "that everything will work out well on the basis of the present contract"; informing them that he has arranged for Carl Brandt to be his co-agent "in all that pertains to [Charles Madox] Ford's affairs", and that all payments under their contract should be made directly to him hereafter; asking that copies of Ford's New York is not America, and The good soldier, among others, be sent to him for his files; sending him the most recent list of Piazza's collection and reminding them that their option on the collection expires at the end of the year.
