Confessing a secret to Herbert, and asking him to keep it "for a reasonable length of time (say over 3 years)", then detailing how he created a penname, "Owen Masters", after he started translating works from languages that he did not personally know, explaining: "I do not want to appear as translator too often, especially of something like Welsh"; checking in on the proceedings of the arts and literature magazine The Tiger's Eye, inquiring "what of the Tigress Orb?"; complaining about "the Pound letters" [the book "Letters of Ezra Pound, 1907-1941" edited by D.D.Paige was published in 1950], which included a letter written by Creekmore to Pound.
