Summary
Accepting his invitation to attend the private viewing of his exhibition of English wood engravings on October 18th (1949); going on to say, however, that "Eily" Darwin (i.e. Eileen Monsell Darwin) had not received an invitation and asking if she might bring her to the opening, remarking that "it is good for her to see artists sometimes"; further suggesting that an invitation be sent to S.T.E. Lawrence of the firm of T.N. Lawrence, who "must have supplied pretty well all the blocks used in these books you are exhibiting."
