Summary
Writing to thank her and her brother for their kind offer of the loan of a place to stay; sharing that he was already half pledged to take the rooms at Glottenham, and has thought better on the whole to carry out this plan; describing how his movements are very uncertain and noting that his need to go into the country might overlap with her brother Benjamin's need of his own house; writing to engage the rooms of Glottenham; sharing that he will probably continue to keep them all summer and autumn so he can come and go as he pleases; sharing that he will take care of some work in London before stirring again; hoping she is benefiting from the sea air; noting that he spoke with Stillman of their conversation, and sharing that there must have been a misunderstanding that Stillman will write to her in order to correct it, though he is leaving for America.
