Summary
Writing that he will be glad to see her next week; thinking that Wednesday or Thursday might suit him best if it suits her also; feeling anxious to get back all of the sketches of his late wife, Elizabeth Siddal; feeling that he admires her work even more now that years have passed following her death; sharing that he got most of her sketches that were in Ruskin's possession, but that he lost sight of or gave away several; asking if she was by chance the recipient of any; sharing that there was a "pied-a-terre" design featuring a woman kneeling by a fireplace with a boy in the background, which he is very sad to have lost because it illustrates one of his poems; offering to give her something in exchange if this happens to be in her possession; remembering that she has a pied-a-terre design and that he already has one like it.
