Writing that he is anxious to know if Balston received a previous letter and that he starts his new position at Ackworth (School) next week and cannot afford certain necessary items before he goes; going on to say that he has completed a number of pictures, that "each year" he hopes to hold an exhibition, that he is sending work to the Goupil show, and that the Redfern Gallery is showing his painting "The Last Supper."
