Summary
Thanking him for a check for £25 and hoping that he will "see ere long really great results.", proposing to visit Balston the following week, observing that he "had contemplated painting more secular picture", and adding that he is working on a painting of a "gypsy encampment" which he will show Balston if he finishes it in time; agreeing that it would "very nice indeed" if he were "asked to do a drawing by Faber & Faber ... for as you say it would be excellent advertisement."
