Summary
Seligmann tells O'Keeffe that he is presently in Maine, though soon to depart for Cambridge to attend his 60th class reunion at Harvard. He describes the site in Maine, and tells O'Keeffe about an overseas trip he and his wife took in April to London and Venice, with a cruise around the Adriatic. He says he has not seen or heard from Strand in years. He describes his attempts to work on his memoirs. He expresses his sympathies about O'Keeffe's eye problems ("Knowing what part those wonderful eyes of yours have played in making your gift to the world, I am sorry you are having trouble with them.") and says he thinks often of New Mexico and Abiquiu and hopes to see her in New York some time.
