Summary
Thanking him for a pleasant visit and recounting his visit to Balston's exhibition of works by Mark Gertler; praising the show and stating that it is hope that it will "do some good" and wake up the dealers and critics, although he notes that the Director of the National Gallery and Tate has been photographed "are being photographed in Vogue together with a model advertising a dress design" in front of "one of the masterpieces from the Austrian collection", concluding "I begin to wonder what its all about and am still feeling a bit sickish."
