Informing him that he is planning "an exhibition of English books with modern wood-engravings for the National Book League", asking Hughes-Stanton to identify the books of his he would like to see included in the exhibit, and enclosing a list of his books which he suspects may be incomplete, and asking Hughes-Stanton to let him now of any further titles he has not included; mentioning that he has two books by Hughes-Stanton and asking to borrow additional titles, stating that the exhibition catalog will need an account of the modern wood engraving movement, and proposing that they meet to discuss it; mentioning that he is "getting up a Gertler Memorial Exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery."
