Summary
Expressing her dismay at his requesting "the books and the proofs so soon" (i.e. for inclusion in his upcoming exhibition of modern English wood engraving), as it will exclude her illustrated edition of Trollope which will not be published until August; stating that she learned the craft from R.J. Beedham at the L.C.C. School of Photo-engravings and Lithography, and from John Jackson's 1839 Treatise on wood engraving.
