Sharing that she is sorry to say she will not be able to come tomorrow because she has a pupil and a sitter; wondering if Thursday would suit Barbara; sharing that Thursday is the Anatomical Class day in Percy Street, so she can meet early in the morning; describing that she is longing to see Barbara; sharing that her mother has not been well and has been out of spirits; asking if Margaret Gillies thinks their prospects are brightening; hoping Barbara is well. Postscript at bottom of page reads: "Very likely Thursday will not suit you -- tell me therefore what day would -- will you dear?"
