Agreeing to give Balston "the Covent Garden Market picture" in exchange for "the Chester Walls" and 10 guineas; making arrangements to deliver the picture and noting that he sold five oil paintings and four water colors at his recent show and "just got a commission from the London & North Eastern Railway Co, to do a poster of Norwich for them"; discussing his plans to go up to Norwich and enclosing a check repaying the £8 Balston previously lent him; mentioning that he is pleased that Balston has "got the Hampstead Heath picture."
