Summary
Informing him that he is going to Wales for ten days before Christmas; mentioning that one window on the first floor of the New College library "has been redone with gothic mullion" and that it looks "a little incongruous in the quad as it now is"; remarking that he has not heard from John M (i.e. John Mavrogordato) and that he had hoped he would visit during his vacation; expressing his hope that Balston's "old house is not being submerged" and commenting on the "dreadful tyrannies" of the current government; writing that he can't attend "the Dickey wedding" and that he walks better "but going about is a great labour."
