Postscript at top of page describing Mary as a capital kind soul, and asking Barbara to "excuse bad writing." Describing a glorious day with sunshine like Midsummer; remarking on how noisy and irritating her neighbors are, and how they are causing her to lose sleep; asking Barbara to come back in order to "cast out the devils" because there has been "a wickedness in your absence".
