Summary
Saying that she is there only for a month and that it will be a pleasure to meet his wife [Agnes Claflin] again; writing "[u]nfortunately of our brief meeting with the students at Vassar my only memory of them is of their quite exceptional loveliness"; adding that she looks forward to seeing him, his brother, and his brother's wife; referring to a portait owned by the Metropolitan Museum but given to the Museum of Modern Art for a period of ten years; asking "Is your wife possibly connected with the M. of MA. If she is she is saving it from damnation--indeed it is to be hoped that she is doing so."
