Summary
Writing that "Father tell me he thinks it is an interesting idea collecting the wood cuts of the 60s. Well worth doing - of his own accord he said they will be from £1- to £2- unless she frequents sales etc & is in fortune's way." and giving her father's opinion that nothing is an "expensive toy" when "love and beauty is motive power at the back of the action!"; mentioning that she is giving a lecture on "The speaking of the English language" for the English Association at Bristol, adding "I have called the paper 'Voices and the divine power to speak words' - It is Walt Whitman's idea"; informing her that they are going to the Riviera in November "to give recitals" and asking if she will be able to see Budgett before then.
