Protesting that she has sent him a sum that far exceeded what she owed him, informing her that he cannot go to Mr. White's as he is required to go with Spencer Cowper(?), or "forfeit the room retained for me", adding "in such a case heaven only knows whose bed I might find myself in, in such a house!!!", and promising to visit her and pay his respects when he returns.
