Summary
Informing her that he modeled a bust in clay from a cast "but despairing of your return I destroyed it, to be recommenced when we shall next meet in London", reporting that his casts "from the dear hands and feet" have turned out well, "and I trust calculated to afford you much tho melancholy consolation", asking how he should should best send them to her, outlining his plans to travel to Rome and Germany before he visits Paris, and asking if she would be willing to provide him with letters of introduction.
