Writing to say that she is welcome to the loan of a clock which belonged to his father, and noting that "it is indeed as useless to me as it was to my Father" as it does not strike loudly enough for him to hear it; adding that it includes Bregeut's description in French, and giving her instructions on how to restart the clock when it arrives and set it on a weekly basis.
