Summary
Writing that she hopes to see him soon after she gets home; noting that she and her sister, "B", had two large flowers sent to them for the ball; two of hers are from one gentleman; hoping that Emile will not be angry because she does not care a bit for this gentleman; describing a great excitement arising due to a new M.P. being elected; describing a trip to the opera; noting the receipt of an invitation to a ball in Sterlingshire; acknowledging that this is "all very against what you like" but cannot suddenly stop going to social events; remarking that people know she loves dancing and would notice if she stopped attending events; stating that she cannot tell her father that she is his wife; says she will make up for all of this when they are officially married; reassuring Emile of her constant love for him and calling him her "very dear husband".
