Summary
Complaining that he has had less time for yachting during the current month than he had hoped, having been limited to crossing the Solent to Osborne and back again, stating that he wishes he could accept her invitation to visit, and that he is not going to Ireland as "the Queen having good-naturedly dispensed with my attendance till a few days after she goes to Balmoral to allow me to see a little of my Boys before they return to school:, adding that he hopes to go to Chambers for a short stay, and that he does not expect to meet the Thynnes (i.e. Gore's daughter Lady Cecilia Thynne and her husband Lord Edward Thynne) in the Highlands as he will only be going to Balmoral and back again.
