Summary
Thanking her for the prospectus for Roots and referring to Mance [Williams]; recalling past readings, including one given in Bemus Point, New York; saying that she is teaching and has a number of readings coming up; mentioning Richard Lewis's children's program at the YMHA (Young Men's Hebrew Association); saying that she was disappointed not to receive an application for the New York State Council on the Arts grant and asking Williams if she knows anything about it; writing that she hears from England that her book Cables to Rage may be reprinted; adding that Wesleyan University Press has had her new manuscript for over two months now, but she has heard nothing from them; concluding "I hope you and your babies are flourishing. Let me hear from you."
