Summary
Thanking her for sending him her play "Dacre of the South" and her novel "The dowager", remarking that Mr. Cowper has arrived and has told him of another book "the title of which tantalizes all the world", and expressing his admiration for her talents; informing her that he saw her friend Mrs. Thornhill at Stanton, noting that she did not say when Gore was to visit her, and remarking "your journey must be prolonged to Chatsworth"; stating that Mr. Cowper will carry the letter.
