Reminding Charlotte that they will have the happiness of seeing one another on Monday next, and asking her to tell her father that they will consider his talk of two days a mere joke; noting that Sartoris arrived last night; longing to see Charlotte and her party; expressing understanding about Anna's inability to attend due to health and hoping she will hear good accounts of her; asking if Augusta has troubled her about an unframed portrait; begging Charlotte to bring it to her from Mr. Shee's; asking that she excuse the liberty of this request.
