Summary
Writing to let Charlotte Susannah know that they are leaving London at eight o'clock in the morning for Paris; thanking her for her kind letter and its enclosure, which she will "take care to deliver"; asking her to believe that she enters into her anxieties, and prays each day to lessen them; asking her to give Charlotte a hug for her; reassuring her that she will write as soon as they are situated in Paris; relaying Rosa's love to Anna; closing the letter because her mother disapproves of her "nocturnal doing"; sending love to Mr. Raikes and enclosing "Mrs. Peirce's useful hints" with thanks. Letter continues on "Sunday night": "I send the maps I have unconsciously so long detained."
