Informing her that they were misled regarding the the prospects for organizing a class to be taught by Yetta Blaze de Bury, stating "The person who told me the number for the class was made up knew nothing about it I am afraid, the truth is that no class is likely to be formed", and that the same informant mispoke "in saying that Mrs. Steel was expecting Madlle de Bury on a visit."; with an accompanying note in French stating that the letter was from a member of the family of the writer ("grand ecrivain") Epes Sargent.
