Summary

Augusta feels more than I can express about dearest Charlotte. Her admiration is as sincere as her love of the dearest girl. Embrace her for us tenderly." Letter asking after the health of Charlotte, which continues to be tenuous; hoping and praying that Charlotte recovers from her unrelenting fever; remarking that youth is in Charlotte's favor, though she is not trying inspire Charlotte Susannah with any delusion; expressing that her prayers are unceasing, and her wishes "fervent than language can express"; remarks that she is finding the bustle of London quite appalling; their departure for the Continent is delayed due to a "terrible performance of a drawing room" that she isn't sure she wants to attend, to the frustration of Edward; she hopes that Lady Wigham will go, but has not yet inquired; noting that she would suggest visiting Theobald's Place, but understands it would be painful for Charlotte Susannah given Charlotte's health; sending love and good wishes to the family, especially Mr. Raikes, who is still suffering.
