Summary
This appears to be a fragment of a letter to Yetta or Fernande from a Russian émigré woman seeking work as a translator, who, at the recipient's suggestion, went to see Madame de Vogüé to see if she could get her husband (Charles-Jean-Melchior de Vogüé (1829-1916) to help her. Stating that Mme de Vogüé offers many excuses (he receives so many letters from Russians and in any case is no longer concerned with Russian literature, etc.) and says that she will speak to her husband but can't promise anything. However, she (the writer of the letter) should tell Mademoiselle Blaze de Bury that she hopes to be of service.
