Summary
Explaining that neither of her articles appeared in his April number owing to the fact that her "Quarterly Resumé of French Literature" did not reach him until after the first of March; informing her that he hopes to include the "Lord Normanby" article in the July number, and that her "regular article" will be "laid over for October"; writing that her pieces "are read with great interest & the highest gratification" and that "many of our men of literary taste & culture have very restricted opportunities of knowing what transpires in the literary world of France" and her articles have therefore "added greatly" to the "essential worth" of the (North American) Review; stating that he has no doubt that his succesor at the Review will be "more than happy" to continue her engagement; mentioning {C.C.) Felton's current visit to Paris and hoping that he will also be able to visit "at no great distance of time."
