Summary
Informing her that she has returned from Biarritz and that she has been to Kingston to visit "the young lady and her mother" at Blaze de Bury's request, to speak to the young woman on behalf of a friend; writing that they spoke "two hours and a half during which we talked only of your friend. Her religious scruples certainly have been the cause of all, nor will she yield on that account.", adding that she wrote to her friend, breaking the news as gently as possible, and asking Blaze de Bury if he received the letter; asking if she can provide any letters (of introduction) to (her daughter) Delia and herself should they go to Rome, and writing that she hopes to be in Paris in a fortnight.
