Summary
Inquiring after her health as she "looked so pale & suffering" the previous evening; writing that they have been invited to Miss Rawdon's that evening, but may not able to go as they may be obliged to accompany "the Hays" to Franconi's; relating an account of a "friend of Henrietta's" (i.e. her sister Henrietta Fanche) who had been "very ill" and confined to her couch for seven or eight months during her pregnancy only to give birth within two hours of labor to "a nice little girl all alive & kicking", and telling her to "take courage & hope for the best for your own dear self"; writing that she would like to see Madame Blaze de Bury's baby before leaving Paris and urging her "make haste & have it all over soon."
