Summary
Sending his regrets to hear that Ruth will likely not be coming to Europe; inquiring about Franka and her husband, since Dubuffet last saw them 2 years ago in Vence; sending his best to Karl and his wife and 2 children; writing that they stayed in Paris for 4 months to create files and records and collect photographs of his paintings, many which have not been photographed, to create a list of all his pictures and drawings, between 3,000 and 4,000; adding that they have secretaries in Paris to assist them and after they drove back to Vence for 2 weeks; stating that he will send a photograph of "Géologue" to see if the picture is hers; requesting that she send him photographs, even bad quality ones, of all the items she has, including paintings, drawings, gouaches, etc.; responding that once he has those, it will be enough for him to identify what items he already has photographs of and then requests that she get a good photographer to photograph the rest; saying that he wrote to Maurice Lewis Fox a few weeks ago to ask him for photographs of his pictures too and received the news that he died.
