Summary
Expressing his satisfaction that she has arranged to write an article for Mr. (George Cornewall) Lewis, informing her that he has a copy of the "Souvenirs de M. Villemain" but has not yet read it, asking her if Easter in Paris is a time when people attend to private devotions or leave town, as it is in London, as he wishes to decide how best to plan his visit to that city, noting that he intends to spend three weeks in Paris and discussing the sort of accommodations he will be looking for.
