Summary
Asking if he remembers her and mentioning mutual acquaintances; enclosing a letter (no longer with the item) containing a petition; describing the writer as "our agent for whom we have had for many years a great and just regard"; saying that, as Sir Francis Doyle can verify the facts of the case with the commissioners and the Board of Excise, "you will not think I am doing too Irish - too lady-like and impertinent a thing in making this request for your favor and protection as far as [public?] right & the rules of business permit."
