Summary
Concerning a cloak that was left in London; informing her that (Ernst) Haberbier enjoyed a great success when he played recently at Mrs. Grote's and saying "I like him far better than I did - at the same time I hold to my first impression that he is emphatically a talent de salon - that in a crowded concert room he must be comparatively a failure"; adding that he is coming to play for her on Sunday; discussing Madame Blaze de Bury's novel "Falkenburg" and her inherent lack of sympathy for the book's central character of Helen.
