Summary
Sending along, with "Camille" money to settle a bill and suggesting that "yr. dear man" would take the money and settle the account for her; asking after Madame Blaze de Bury's new baby (i.e. her second daughter Fernande), inquiring if she has recovered her strength and begun again to "re-tax it by that scribbling!", and asking when she might visit them in England; commenting on her own child, and observing "Oh Rose, I believe you have only experienced the pain, & not the pleasure of maternity. If you knew what a fool I am about my suckling! Aye & its father ain't much better ... he carries it up & down & it knows him & likes better than ought else, but its wittles - crowing & sputtering the moment it sees him."
