Summary
Complaining of the boredom and bad weather in London; reporting that she has caught the influeze "from going downstairs too soon"; stating that she will "never lie in again in winter - & I've told Willie so - & he's agreeable" and continuing "I suppose he has told you that my boy turned to a girl? not a big one, but a nice fat healthy, & above all, totally unmarked one, in spite of my fears. She is ugly enough with a nose [illegible] give the lie to any to any number of bars sinister. This is a lucky circumstance, as I can't deny that on the 24th of March (when she was, or ought to have been begotten [...]) W. & I were 1,000 miles apart, let alone [illegible] esteemed a legal objection to the lawful manufacture of a child."
