Concerning some bonnets she ordered to have made in Paris and her disagreement with the milliner over the price; congratulating Madame Blaze de Bury on receiving £200 to write a novel, and expressing her hope that she will come to Brougham, although the writer is uncertain of her welcome there ("My lady is en delicatesse with me, & may not choose to have me - & I shall certainly not go till this is made clear. For after all, though she is a madwoman, Brougham is her own house."
