Summary
Noting that she is sending her letter to Madame Blaze de Bury in Paris by Mr. Nelson and that her husband has informed her that Madame Blaze de Bury has promised him a visit; writing that she is sure that "you have often thought of and felt for me in my deep anxieties, anxieties which I only share in common with him ... and from which I am thankful to have been allowed a respite"; asking after Lord Brougham and expressing her regret that her husband John did not travel with him to Paris; expressing her sympathy for "poor F. (i.e. Fanny?) Blackett" and mentioning that she is going to Nice for the winter; wriitng that her "sick boy" is improving "though he is much too thin & delicate" and asking after Madame Blaze de Bury's daughter Yetta and baby; asking if Saxe Weimar has "behaved like a gentleman and whether she has seen "the Spanish Lady's very improper M.S."; informing her that she has discovered "a note & money in it for you ... in the bottom of my strong box reposing in safety instead of having been forwarded by Ld. B., Sir John and now by Mr. Nelson" and adding that, owing to it being cash, she is unable to send it through the post.
