Summary
Informing Madame Blaze de Bury of the death of the writer's mother (Elizabeth Austen Cooke) on the previous day; forwarding to her a letter she received from Disraeli in "answer to my letter of the 11th inst.", and requesting that she return it to her hereafter; noting that she has found "Panofka's Method" (a probable reference to one of the instructional writings by German violinist, voice teacher Heinrich Panofka), waiting for her there, and that, while she will not be giving it her immediate attention, she will attend to it as soon as possible; suggesting that Madame Blaze de Bury write to "Sidonia" herself.
